Amen, bob. I am surprised that the average American does not have a sense of Deja Vu, about Mr Bush, and a Former U.S. Government fellow by the name of McCarthy.

We had peripheral discussions on this in the past, but one of the core problems that still exists is that the people doing the watching do not understand the science, let alone the ethics of surveillance, and intelligence gathering and management.

I have had extensive discussions on this issue with a former CIA ANalyst and a consultant to MI6. The "watchers" do not understand the science of communications, nor intelligence gathering not intelligence management. ANd, more importantly the y do not understand how to apply a strict ethical framework to what they do...
