Good observation, and good idea on Yahoo's behalf. I was almost phished by a bank copying the citibank look: the url was citybank.com instead of citibank.com. I was not focusing. Clever buggers. Fortunately the incident was six or seven years ago, so it was an imperfect artistic and functional reproduction.

A personal stylesheet might also be merged with one (or many) sites in order to look familar to the viewer; i wonder if that might anti-phish also.

The pubsub concept is great. Are you polling your resources ( EDGAR, etc) consistently and then pubsubbing out.


it's a good thing Yahoo! implemented this measure. Great stuff...
